A native of Allison Park, PA, Justin is currently playing professionally with the New England Patriots and is enjoying his time with the northern squad. Justin, a former All-Big Ten Second Team selection tackled a variety of topics with us from his thoughts on the pros to his thoughts on Penn State, including his former head coach Joe Paterno.

Last year PSU Playbook took fans inside the life of an NFL rookie with Anthony Adams' NFL Rookie Diary, a series where 'Spice' gave us a first hand account of the ups and downs of moving from the collegiate to professional ranks of football. The series was incredibly popular, with several other sites, incuding NFL and San Francisco 49er sites syndicating it for their own fans. We are proud and excited to continue the NFL Rookie Diary series, this time with Nittany Lion fullback Sean McHugh, who is currently a member of the Tennessee Titans.

We had the opportunity to catch up with former Nittany Lion linebacker Deryck Toles as he prepares for the next level of football competition in the NFL. Deryck actually is no longer in State College since he graduated in December and headed down south to help prepare himself mentally and physically for the pros. Deryck's enzyme disorder adds another complex obstacle in his quest to break in to the NFL, which has him working even harder to succeed.

I had the rare opportunity to sit down for a one-on-one interview with former Penn State consensus All-American safety Michael Zordich. Michael, who played an impressive 12 years in the NFL after a great career with the Nittany Lions, shared his thoughts on the current team and memories of when he was a PSU. He is an energetic, passionate man who is fantastic to talk with. It is one of the most enjoyable interviews I have ever had the privilege of conducting.

Yesterday was a bad day for former Lions in the NFL. Four PSU alumni were injured in five different games. The players injured were Kerry Collins, Eddie Drummond, Bobby Engram, Jim Nelson and Bhawoh Jue. Here is the extent of their injuries.
